I love hand painting yarn and here are some photos of the latest colourways:

All for sale on ebay at the moment, and longer term on etsy. Hand painting is a bit of an art though, so I’m not sure I’ll get the same colourways again!

I have some knitting news - apart from this here new blog, I’ve also listed a heap of new yarns on ebay, ready for your hot little hands. I’ve also created a cafepress store for my wares - more on that later.

Last night I cast on my Clapotis, using my Orchard yarn from The Wool Company of New Zealand - which I bought months ago. It was seeing my housemate’s girlf wrapped in hers last night that inspired me to cast on! 

I am powering through my Fantastic Sock as well, making lots of edits as I go… so anyone who has already bought this should get an update soon, and anyone thinking of buying it can get a completely useable pattern, with chart!

I have so much dyeing to do next week and cannot wait for my package from Virginia Farms Woolworks to get here! Jenny is lovely and very helpful.

My sweet sister gifted me some Wagtail Yarn yesterday and with it I might make a Smoke Ring! I also got a Borders gift voucher which I will use for a yarn book.

To prepare for the new year, I’m moving my old blog from blogdrive to blogsome, which I like a lot more. It will officially move here in the new year! Please update your links
