My tea is now cozy

I have been struggling, even in the hottest February we’ve had in a long time, with cold tea. So I knit a tea cozy during my lectures this week:

It’s made out of yellow wool that I love but will felt as soon as you look at it, in a pattern from YARNmagazine (due out soon!) from last year. The tie is Seaspray Mistique (alpaca and wool blend) from Bendigo Wool Mills, which I am going to knit Tubey out of.

  1. Love your tea cosy. Now you can really enjoy your tea instead of having to gulp it all before it gets cold.

  2. If only that was the case! It is more likely that I drink it slowly, so the first cup goes from scalding to lukewarm as I drink it, and the rest of the tea does too! Now I can slowly drink one cup, share a second with someone and maybe have a third, all nice and warm/hot!
