Three needle bind offs
So as I’ve said before, I am knitting The Perfect Sweater in lovely Sequoia which the Lovely Kate bought me in Bendigo this year (wow look at that! Amazingly enough, I have finished the front and the back and 1/3rd of one sleeve… and I’m impatient (and changing the neckline) so I want to put the front and the back together and am currently researching the how and why of three-needle bind offs.
*Fake edit to add: when you do this, make sure you really and truly do have the wrong sides together. Unless you’re like me, and nind it off very. carefully., only to realise afterwards that you’re sewn the front to the back and twisted the sides around as well. Very clever.
I have had some unfabulous news about my left shoulder (torn larbum, possible surgery etc etc) so knitting has had to take a back seat. I’m not sure that the movement is the best for it, but then again knitting doesn’t make it ache like nobody’s business, so for the moment I’m doing some to keep my sanity. I’m also taking up buttons I’ve decided - not sure what to do with them but I’m sure you’ll be the first to know!
