Destash

I am having a sale / destash of my own yarns at the moment (all hand dyed and gorgeous, just not able to be sold at a markets atm due to shoulder issues and potential shoulder surgery!).

Prices are suggested only - please, make me an offer and help me clean out this part of my stash. I’ll be doing books soon, and then commercial yarns. Please pm me any questions you have.

Postage is $5 up to 500g, and $10 up to 3kg, and then above that by discussion.

Summary photos are here.

  • Sock yarn x9 100g skeins $10.50 a skein (3ply machine washable wool): Happy Flowers, Blue Moon, Very Vermillion x2, Quantum Quatro, Ginger Ninja x2, ?, Kate’s Pallet (in a ball already)

  • Baby yarn 200g $12.50 (4 ply machine washable wool): orange and white, dyed in an interesting way so that one end of the skein is lots of orange, then it goes into a pale orange and lots of white in the middle, then back to more orange at the end. You can kind of see this effect in the wound ball.cake here

  • Baby yarn 200g $12.50 (4 ply machine washable wool): dark green and white, dyed in an interesting way so that one end of the skein is lots of green, then it goes into a paler green and slightl more white in the middle, then back to more green at the end.

  • Art Viva needles, 4 sets (3x 30cm - green, pale blue, orange, 1x 20cm - red and white dots) all 4mm!! $4.00 a set

  • Lace weight 200g $12.00 (2ply wool, machine washable): Happy Flowers (orange/pink/purple)

  • Harmony 200g skein (wool/cotton/lycra): pale green and white. $10 - it was dyed extra to a customer’s requirements and I don’t like knitting with it, even though it’s a lovely yarn!

  • Wool/Blue faced Leicster (sp?)/mohair - Grape Punch. 200g. 8ply ish yarn. Gorgeous but I have way too much purple in my stash! $12.50

  • Aran weight cashmere / wool blend! Pinky red colours - so soft! 200g. $17.50

  • 275g ish mohair / wool / silk blend. It’s a lot like Cracksilk Haze but handdyed with pale blues and greys. The three balls here show the differences in colours - it was originally 12 balls that I dyed and then have wound up into 3 balls for knitting with, but I don’t actually like knitting with it so I’ve only swatched one ball out of it. More pictures. $15.00

  • 12 ply That 70s Yarn - 100g so would make a scarf or a hat. I made a Rollin’ Beret out of one skein. $8.00

  • 75% wool / 20% mohair / 5% alpaca, 200g skeins, Lollypop Pink and Flushed Cheeks. 8ply ish yarn. Lovely when knit but again - extra to a dyeing order so I have no need for it. $15 each.

  • 8 ply machine washable yarn, 100g skeins: Blue Moon and Happy Flowers. $8 each.

  • 8 ply machine washable yarn, 200g skeins: 3x Emerald City, 2x Great Grapes! $15 each or $11/skein if you buy the whole set for each colour (so $33 for the green and $22 for the purple)

  • Alpaca 200g skeins 8 ply: 1 which is speckled/flecked dark brown on cream underneath pale red, and the other which is pale pinks and purples. Both are lovely. $15 a skein.

  • 50:50 mohair and wool 200g skeins, 8 ply: 1x Raspberry Tea, 2x Purely Purple, and 1x Kissed Lips. $15 a skein.

  • Alpaca / wool blend, flecked underneath and sunset colours on top, NOT machine washable, $12.50 for 200g skein 8ply

  1. Hi, Kate sent me a link to your blog - I’d really love some very vermillion sock yarn. And some 50:50 in Purely Purple - how do we organise?

  2. Kate also gave me the link to your blog. Would love the ball of Kate’s pallette sock yarn, and the other lovely blue and purply one… Again, with the “how do we organise” bit…

  3. Hello, I took my pretty new yarns to Stitch and Bitch group on Tuesday and they were very popular to pat and adore and yearn for. So I sent them all this link and also put it on our blog. Yay! I am so lusting after some of these yarns, but having just bough more than I actually needed I’m really struggling to justify purchasing any more :(

  4. Hi, I’m also a friend of Kate’s and I’d like to buy some of your yarn. I’d be interested in both baby yarns and both very vermillions for the sock yarn.
